We went to the invitation only Diplomatic Reception this morning at the US Embassy.

A very decorated Marine in his dress uniform. He had a purple heart, all kinds of medals of valour. Interesting to talk to.
The event at the embassy later was what we had originally signed up for tickets for. But our Invitation to the morning event included the afternoon picnic also. (a plus, we didn't have to buy our tickets.)
There was also a circus. An organization in Battambang teaches kids circus acts while going to school. Now grown up, this group of Cambodians are on their way to the US to perform with Ringling Bros.
